How to read a scorecard and coaching report

After each practice call you get three things: a score out of 100 with a breakdown by scorecard category, the full transcript, and a coaching report that explains which criteria passed and failed and why. Start with the lowest-scoring category, find the moment in the transcript, and practise that moment again.

A routine that works

  • Look at the category breakdown, not just the total.
  • Open the transcript at the point the coaching report flags.
  • Rewrite the line you would say next time.
  • Run the same persona again within a day and compare the category score.

For managers

Use the coaching report as the agenda for a one-to-one. It shows where a rep is losing points, so the conversation starts from evidence instead of impressions.
