MEDDPICC is an extended version of MEDDIC that adds two additional qualification dimensions: Paper Process (the legal, procurement, and contracting steps required to get a deal signed) and Competition (who else is in the evaluation and how the prospect ranks the options). These additions make it particularly valuable for complex enterprise deals where legal and procurement delays are common deal killers and competitive displacement is a real risk that must be actively managed.
