Decision Criteria

Decision Criteria are the formal and informal requirements a prospect uses to evaluate vendors and select a solution. Formal criteria often appear in RFPs and include features, integrations, security certifications, and pricing. Informal criteria include cultural fit, vendor reputation, the quality of executive relationships, and past experiences with similar vendors. Understanding and influencing decision criteria early — ideally before they are finalized — is a key competitive advantage in enterprise deals.
