Economic Buyer

The Economic Buyer is the person at a prospect organization who controls the budget for a purchase and whose signature or approval is required to close the deal. In enterprise sales, reps often spend months with end-users and champions while never reaching the economic buyer — a key reason deals stall or get killed late. Accessing the economic buyer early, understanding their business priorities, and connecting your solution to their metrics is a defining skill of elite enterprise AEs.
